Our NYC Self Defense Class Schedule – Easy to Join, Convenient Locations for Busy New Yorkers
Classes run regularly at our two convenient Manhattan locations: Union Square (25 W 14th St) and Hell’s Kitchen (500 8th Ave). We offer group self defense sessions focused on practical skills—situational awareness, striking, close quarter combat, grappling, armed defenses, and the De-Escalation Mindset. All classes last 60 minutes and welcome all levels. Drop-ins ($40), unlimited members ($140/month), and free intros are welcome. What Happens in a Streetwise Self Defense Class?
Every session starts with a quick warm-up and mindset check-in. We then move into practical drills: sharpening awareness to spot threats early (Plan A), verbal de-escalation practice, and hands-on technique work for Plan B scenarios (striking, clinch/grappling, ground defense, multi-opponent/armed situations). Classes end with drills that put your knowledge to the test. It’s challenging yet supportive—everyone progresses at their pace in a safe space.
